10th Grade Health Enhancement teaches students the importance of acheiving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It helps students actively protect, maintain, and improve their individual overall health. 10th Grade Health Enhancement is a comprehensive program that combines the disciplines of both health education as well as physical education and movement.
A basic breakdown of a week in 10th Grade Health Enhancement is as follows:
Mondays - Mile Mondays - (Cardio Activities - Circuit Training, Mile Runs, Walk/Jog Activities, Pacer Test, etc.)
Tuesdays - Training Tuesdays - (Weight Lifting Activities, Crossfit Style Cardio, etc.)
Wednesdays - Yoga Style Activities, Pilates, etc.
Thursdays - Lifetime Skill Activity
Fridays - Fun Friday - (Teamwork Activity, Team Based Game)
