Each of my agriculture classes is guided by this principle. Students will be guided by course objectives that cover both the subject matter and employability skills. FFA membership is a required portion of this course and all students will be guided in developing and maintaining an Agricultural project to enhance their experience. All of the curriculum falls under the National Agriculture Education Standards (available on the Montana OPI website).
SAE Information and Help
Agriculture projects are called Supervised Agriculture Experiences (SAE). The hours are completed outside of class time and are meant to give students experience in an area of interest. The records are kept online at theaet.com (each student has their log in information) The rubric used to grade the project depends on the type of project. Click here to access
